Undivided Loyalty - prohibits NAMP® Mortgage Planners from advancing any interest adverse to the interests of the Borrower/Client, including their own.
Full Disclosure - the affirmative duty for a NAMP® Mortgage Planner to make a timely, full disclosure to the Borrower/Client of all information, known or acquired by the NAMP® Mortgage Planner, which may materially affect the interest of the Borrower/Client, including wholesale interest rates, lender rebates, and alternative loan programs.
Confidentiality - prohibits NAMP® Mortgage Planners from using or communicating information confidentially given or acquired about the Borrower/Client in the course of the agency relationship except as required by the wholesale lender source or as may be authorized by the Borrower/Client.
Due Diligence and Reasonable Care - requires the NAMP® Mortgage Planner to protect the Borrower/Client from foreseeable risks of harm; exercise the necessary competence to insure the best interest of the Borrower/Client; and recommend that a Borrower/Client obtain expert advice when any information or advice is beyond the NAMP® Mortgage Planner's scope of expertise.
Obedience - requires the NAMP® Mortgage Planner to act only within the scope of authority granted by the Borrower/Client and to obtain and follow the lawful instructions of the Borrower/Client in the performance of the NAMP® Mortgage Planner's scope of employment.
Accounting - requires the NAMP® Mortgage Planner to timely report to the Borrower/Client all money, property and documents received and/or delivered on behalf of the Borrower and return such items upon request to the Borrower/Client.
